Ms. KT Zamora, Senior Program Manager, VA, provides strategic and operation program planning and liaison support to the Office of Information Technology, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) agency for the Continuous Readiness in Information Security Program (CRISP), Remediation Services Support (RSS) contract. She manages and supervises technical staff with 500 percent growth for AM. She also provides technical and process recommendations for efficiency improvements of the program to CRISP RSS executive management.
Ms. Zamora produces and authors the Operation Management report for VA stakeholders and Congress. Furthermore, she is actively participating and collaborating in the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) Audit Plan of Action, Enterprise Cybersecurity Strategy team, and CRISP meetings with VA stakeholders, CRISP RSS management, and other contractors.
She has over 20 years of effective, direct leadership experience in consulting to the government, in addition to experience in the areas of program management, finance, customer service, acquisition, operations, strategic management, and direct line management of technical and non-technical staff with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and other DoD agencies. She also has numerous years of experience in conference planning, program cost analysis, schedules, contract negotiations, and earned value management in compliance with OMB 300.
Ms. Zamora has managed scientific, technical, financial, administrative personnel, and has functioned as the government’s Chief of Staff for ground-breaking R&D programs totaling over $1B. Her broad technical background, coupled with an extensive network of transition partners across the DoD armed forces, enables her to support research and development efforts from conception to transition.
Ms. Zamora holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Strayer University. She is a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and is also a member of PMI.
